When you sign up for Petme, a unique username is automatically assigned to your account. Usernames follow the format adjective_animal_number, such as serene_cat_4756, happy_penguin_8746, or similar combinations. If you’d like to personalize your username, you can change it by following the steps below.
‼️ Please note: changing your username will make your previous username available for other users or pets to claim. Additionally, you won’t be able to change your username again for 30 days, so choose carefully.
Here’s how to change your username:
- 1 Go to your personal account page.
- 2 Tap the “Edit profile” button under your profile photo (alternatively, tap the menu in the upper right corner and tap “Edit profile”).
- 3 Under the “Edit username” field, type your desired username.
