Petme’s service fee for sitters

Updated September 4, 20251 min read

As a Petme sitter, you keep 85% of your earnings from each booking. The remaining 15% is automatically deducted as a service fee.

While it reduces your immediate earnings slightly, the fee ensures you have access to resources that help you succeed long-term. Petme reinvests these fees into improving the app and this makes it possible for Petme to provide:

  • Booking and business tools to manage your services.
  • 24/7 support when you need help.
  • Marketing campaigns that bring pet parents to the platform.
  • The Petme Protection Plan, which covers vet emergencies during bookings.

These services ensure the platform works reliably for both sitters and pet parents.

Petme also offers a cashback program for top sitters. If you earn above certain thresholds in a month, you’ll receive a cashback that effectively reduces your service fee to 13% or even 10%, meaning you can take home up to 90% of your earnings. You can read more here.
