How do I create a post?

Petme is built on a simple idea: you should know your sitter before you book, not after.

That's why sitters on Petme have full social profiles — not just a bio and a star rating. They post regularly: their home, their own pets, the animals currently in their care, their daily routines. You can follow a sitter, watch their content over time, and get a genuine feel for who they are and how they work. By the time you send a booking request, you're not messaging a stranger.

Your own profile works the same way. Posting about your pet gives your sitter useful context before a stay — your dog's personality, their quirks, what makes them comfortable — and connects you with a community of pet owners who take their animals just as seriously as you do.

Here's how to post:

1. Go to your profile.
2. Tap the + icon in the upper-right corner.
3. Choose one or more photos, or a video, from your gallery.
4. Tap Next.
5. Choose a format: Portrait, Square, or Landscape. You can also crop, rotate, or flip your content here. Tap Done in the upper-right corner to save any edits.
6. Tap Next again.
7. Write your caption and add hashtags if you'd like.
8. Tap Done.

Your post will appear on your profile right away.
