How do I accept a request?

When a pet parent sends you a request, you will find it in your chats, and you will get a notification. You decide whether to accept it.

Before you accept

Open the request and check:

the dates and times
the pet's details: breed, size, age and the instructions filled in by the pet parent
the price

Use the chat to ask about anything that isn't in the pet's profile. Please only accept when you have all the details, you are sure you can follow the pet's routine and you are comfortable with the pet parent's requirements.

How to accept a request

Open the chat with the pet parent and find the request.
Tap Accept.
Write a short message to the pet parent and confirm.

The pet parent gets your message and the Book Now button appears for them. The booking is confirmed once they pay in the app.

Wait for the payment

Please don't start the service before the booking is paid and confirmed in the app. If you do, the request can expire, you won't receive your payout, and Petme's protections won't apply.

If you can't accept

You can suggest a different price, modify the request, or close it. Please don't leave it unanswered: see What is the reliability score?.
