How does a custom price work?

Sometimes the price of a request doesn't match what the job involves, for example when a dog needs extra care or the pet parent has asked for something special. In that case you can suggest a different price.

How to suggest a custom price

1. Open the chat with the pet parent and find the request. The request must still be open.
2. Tap Provide custom price.
3. Choose the new price. You can change it by up to 50% up or down from the original price, in steps of 5%.
4. Confirm.

The pet parent sees your price in the chat, and a button to Accept and Book. They can also decline it.

Good to know

• Talk to the pet parent in the chat first, so your offer doesn't come as a surprise.
• You can withdraw your offer while the pet parent hasn't answered, and you can send a new offer instead.
• Once the pet parent accepts and pays, the booking is confirmed at the custom price.
