How do I close a request?

If you can't take a booking request, or you have changed your mind, you can close it as long as it is still open and has not been booked. Closing an open request has no penalty, even if you have already accepted it.

How to close a request

1. Open the chat with the pet parent and find the request.
2. Tap Close booking.
3. Confirm that you want to close the request.

Closing a request cannot be undone. The request will show as closed and neither of you will be able to send messages in it.

If the booking is already paid

Once a booking is paid and confirmed, it can't be closed any more, only cancelled. If you cancel, the pet parent receives a refund minus an administrative fee, so they will not get the full amount back, and it can affect your reliability score. Before you close it

If the problem is the dates, the times or the price, you can modify the request or suggest a different price with Provide custom price, and talk it through with the pet parent in the chat first.
