How do I create a post?
Your posts are your most powerful booking tool on Petme.
Pet parents on the platform don't just read your bio — they follow your profile, watch your content, and build a picture of who you are before they ever send a message. By the time someone reaches out to book, they've already seen your home, met your own pets, and watched how you interact with the animals in your care. That familiarity is what turns a browse into a booking request.
A strong posting habit is the difference between a sitter who waits for inquiries and one who has a full calendar. Star ratings tell pet parents what happened after a booking. Your posts tell them what to expect before one.
Here's how to post:
- Go to your profile.
- Tap the + icon in the upper-right corner.
- Choose one or more photos, or a video, from your gallery.
- Tap Next.
- Choose a format: Portrait, Square, or Landscape. You can also crop, rotate, or flip your content here. Tap Done in the upper-right corner to save any edits.
- Tap Next again.
- Write your caption and add hashtags if you'd like.
- Tap Done.
Your post goes live on your profile straight away.
Tip: Show the things pet parents actually want to see — your home setup,
your own pets, a walk you did, a dog settling in on their first day.
Consistency matters more than perfection.
