How do I book a sitter?

Petme is built on social transparency. Every sitter has a social profile where they share their daily life, their home, and the pets already in their care — so you can get a genuine feel for who they are before you decide to book with them. It's a more personal way to choose someone you trust with your pet.

Here's how to book:

1. Tap the Book button at the bottom center of the screen.
2. Select the service you need (such as boarding, dog walking or drop-in).
3. Choose the dates you need.
4. Select your pet. If you haven't added them yet, you can create your pet's profile directly at this step, or beforehand from your profile.
5. Browse available sitters and send a booking request to the one you'd like to work with.

Once you send a request, the screen will suggest other available sitters. You can select as many as you like and send them the same request from that screen — no need to send them one by one. We recommend sending your request to a few sitters at the same time, so you have a better chance of finding one faster.

If you'd rather browse sitters before choosing your dates, tap the Search button to the left of the Book button. From there, you can filter for sitters offering the service you need and view their profiles, reviews, and posts to help you find the right match for your pet.
