What do sitters see about my pet?

Updated October 18, 20261 min read

When you send a request, the sitter can open it and see your pet's details: the breed, the size and the age, and any instructions you have filled in. This helps them decide whether they can take care of your pet and prepare for the stay.

Fill in your pet's profile

The more complete your pet's profile is, the fewer questions the sitter will need to ask. In your pet's Sitting information you can add details such as weight, energy level and feeding. See How do I add my pet?.

Add clear instructions

Think about what a sitter needs to know to keep your pet's routine: feeding times and amounts, medication, walks, favourite toys, fears, behaviour with other animals and anything else that matters.

Use the chat for the rest

If something isn't in your pet's profile, you can tell the sitter in the chat, or the sitter may ask you. Pets have their routines and can't easily adapt to a different situation, so it's worth clearing everything up before you book.
